Angry youths who were motorcycle riders on Sunday afternoon descended on suspected Okada snatchers in Olodo Garage area of Ibadan, set two ablaze while one escaped death.
An eye witness under condition of anonymity who spoke with FreshPage said the incident happened when men Oyo State Road Transport Maintenance Agency (OYRTMA) were trying their possible best to tow the truck that fell off the bridge which has been causing traffic gridlock in the axis.

The eye witness spoke further that majority of Okada riders plying the road parked their motorcycles beside the road and turned their attention to how towing vehicle will perform its functions.
“All of a sudden three guys jumped on someone’s motorcycle not knowing the owner wasn’t carried away with activities of towing vehicle. Before we know, they were about to zoom off the spot. The owner shouted thieves uncontrollably, onlookers ran after them. In the process, two were caught, one escaped. The two were taking back to the spot where they picked Okada and set ablaze”.
When FreshPage visited the scene, the remains of the suspected robbers were beside the road with patrol van of the Nigeria Police Force and truck of Federal Fire Service were stationed there.
