Some people do not know why Governor Seyi Makinde keeps acting recklessly, saying all manner of trash against President Tinubu.
I think I know why. Inside of him, he is confident that no matter what he says or does against Tinubu, he will still, most definitely cut a favourable deal between himself and the president at the appropriate time.
For Governor Makinde, people like us are just riff raffs who doesn’t know what is going on underneath.
Honestly, I know what is going on. I am aware of a very thick and strong conspiracy by some Elites, most especially, in Ibadan. To these privileged few, Seyi Makinde is the golden boy.
He is acting according to a script written by those Elites and they are well pleased with him just like one of them told me recently. When they say they are pleased with him, I know what it means.
It is not because he is delivering on his campaign promises to the people of Oyo state, rather, it is because the Governor is acceding to their personal interests from time to time.
For them, the people of Oyo state can go to hell as far as the Governor is doing their bidding. Even though, Governor Makinde keeps saying he doesn’t have a godfather, this group of vultures, well educated, well connected, many of them, very close to the president or at least, to those who are very close to the president always get considered by Governor Seyi Makinde in terms of political appointments, allocation of choice Government Land and in most cases, monetized gratifications.
They are the ones who keep telling the president and those who are very close to him that he needs Governor Makinde if he would be victorious in 2027 and Governor Makinde so much believes in them that they would get the job done for him at the appropriate time.
Believe me, I am not perturbed by the antics of these wicked people who doesn’t care about the financial recklessness in the 33 Local Governments of Oyo state. They don’t bother about the poor state of our Health system.
Whatever is happening in our public primary and secondary schools is not their problem. Their grandchildren will never attend those ugly public primary and secondary schools, neither do they have any need to get treated in any of our General Hospitals.

For them, Governor Makinde may decide to sell every assetts belonging to Oyo state, if their personal interests would be factored into the process. We know them. We know why they have kept promoting the Governor, telling the president that he must be accommodated in the scheme of things if 2027 will be a done deal for him.
They smuggle the Governor to every occasion where they think the president’s close associates would be present. Like I said, I am not perturbed at all by their antics and I can predictably say that this time around, they will fail.
Have you ever wondered why some members of the opposition party in the state have cultivated the shameful habits of romancing Governor Seyi Makinde and publicly denigrating the APC publicly?
It is because they believe that those group of selfish Elites would certainly succeed in forcing Makinde on the president at the end of the day. I pity them. This time around, like I said, they will fail and fail big time.
The factors that influenced such a pathetic choice in 2023 are gone and gone for good. We have a strategy to contain them and I won’t let the cat out of the bag for now. Oyo state consists of 5 geo-political zones and 33 Local Governments.
How could a group of greedy individuals who are not up to 0.001 percent of just one of the 5 zones arrogate the responsibilities of being the ones to decide whether a Governor has done well or not to themselves?
The most unfortunate part of these whole thing is that most of these wicked people are claiming to be members of the opposition political party.
They are not happy about the fact that the opposition party in Oyo state is now united and consolidating on how to reclaim the state from Makinde in 2027.
They would not care if Makinde destroys the APC just as he destroyed the PDP.
Most of them who are politicians would not show up for APC activities in Oyo state but when they get to Abuja, they are the ones who keep shouting wolves on the president’s ears and that of those who are close to him.
The good thing is we know them. We know their strategy and we will confront them. Seyi Makinde led PDP to the dungeon. He should enjoy his stay in the PDP after all, he has said that he is comfortable staying there.
We know the dark corners they are planning to cut this time around and we will ensure that landmines are planted everywhere.
