Oyo South senatorial candidate, Chief Joseph Tegbe has laid the foundation of Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union Of Nigeria (RATTAWU) secretariat in Ibadan.
Mogaji Tegbe laid the first brick for the project. He performed the task the management of Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS), senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Iyaloja-General of Oyo State and others.
Tegbe commended the Kola Carew leadership of RATTAWU for the initiative, and for working with BCOS management and Oyo State Government to improve the welfare of workers.
“As an avid follower of BCOS- radio and television since childhood, it is important I contribute my quota to this building project, which will be of great benefit to the union, and good motivation for the workers which will improve productivity.
Tegbe said BCOS has the human resources and physical infrastructure to be a key player in the media ecosystem in Nigeria and Africa. Tegbe stressed that motivated workforce is key to achieving improve productivity. He said he is ready to work with the stakeholders on this process.
