A Management consultant, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe has commended Governor Seyi Makinde for jettisoning the caretaker arrangement, described it as a testimony to Governor’s commitment to participatory democracy and grassroots development.
In a statement signed by his media team, the PDP Chieftain commended the timely conduct of elections to ensure a proper transition from a set of elected chairmen to another set of elected chairmen, which is unprecedented in the current democratic dispensation, whereas former Governors preferring to appoint caretaker chairmen.
Mogaji Tegbe said the departure from the undesirable trend is indeed commendable, and the success of the PDP candidates is a testimony to the Governor’s achievements.

In conclusion, Tegbe charged the new helmsmen to be focused on delivering dividends of democracy to the people.
“As duly elected chairmen, the people of the state expect them to domesticate the progressive leadership of the Governor at the grassroot level and to improve the quality of lives of citizens”.
He urged them to give priority to projects and programmes that address the felt needs of the people.
