The member of the TETFund Board of Trustees representing the South West, Honourable Sunday Adepoju has assured the Management of the University of Ibadan that he would do all within his powers to ensure the completion of all outstanding TETFund projects within the University.
Hon. Adepoju gave this pledge at a meeting with the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Professor Peter O. Olapegba during a visit to the University.
He noted that his purpose on the Board of Trustees of TETFund is to ensure that South West institutions derived maximum benefits from TETFund.
The Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Professor Peter Olapegba, who spoke on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor Professor Kayode O. Adebowale, mni, FAS, fspsp, assured the Board member that UI has zero tolerance for abandoned projects, adding that the University does not have any such projects.

He disclosed that what the University has are distressed projects which were yet to be completed as a result of exchange rate volatility, natural causes and contractors saying they do not need to be mobilised but who later deserted projects sites.
Professor Olapegba said some projects have been re-scoped and would be completed shortly.
He urged Honourable Adepoju to use his good offices to ensure the completion of those that have not yet been re-scoped as well as bring more projects to the University.

He appreciated TETFund for its various interventions, saying they have gone a long way in boosting the infrastructures of the University.
Honourable Adepoju, who later inspected some projects, was accompanied on the visit by Engr. Dr Taiwo Luqman Adedeji, the Zonal Coordinator of TETFund projects in the South West and Mrs Maria Joseph, an Information Officer.
