The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Senator Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has joined eminent Nigerians home and abroad to congratulate ministerial nominee from Oyo State, Chief Abdul-Waheed Adebayo Adelabu.
Senator Akanbi’s Coalition Movement for Bola Ahmed Tinubu (COMBAT) and others Oyo State group in Oyo sent hearty cheers to the Oyo State Ministerial nominee, Chief Abdul-Waheed Adebayo Adelabu.
“It is our wish that Chief Bayo Adelabu will perform to his best, repay the confidence which President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR has in him and have a successful tenure in this administration. It is a call to duty and our prayer is that Almighty God will guide him”.

Adelabu was a successful banker who rose through the ranks to the peak of his career. He was a former Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), 2019 APC gubernatorial candidate for Oyo State and 2023 governorship candidate of the Accord Party.
