A chieftain of the Oyo All Progressives Congress APC and former senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi has felicitated Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade II.

Okanlomo of Ibadanland described Oba Oyewumi as one of the monarchs whose his contribution towards preserving and sustaining Yoruba tradition and rich cultural heritage is noticeable beyond Ogbomoso land.
“Baba has used his years on stool to unite people across various geo-political zones in the state. Ogbomoso is witnessing tremendous growth during the reign of Oba Oyewumi.
“I pray may God grant Soun of Ogbomoso many more years on the land of the living in sound health”.
