The Founder, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF), Senator Rilwan Akanbi has facilitated 500-KVA transformer to Balaro 2 Consumers Association in Odo-Oba, Elere community, Ibadan.
The installation of the 500-KVA transformer was facilitated by Senator Rilwan Akanbi for benefiting communities that comprise of Borokini, Aliwajud, Odunjo, Ifelajulo, Okerorun, Ifelodun and Odiolowo.
The leaders of the community under the Chairmanship of Mr. Babalola sent an appreciation letter to Senator Akanbi.
The Chairman of the association described Senator Akanbi as a good promise keeper. He appreciated the facilitator for standing tall among political gladiators in Oyo State. He has given us transformer to illuminate our community, may light never depart in his life; Babalola said.
“Despite not in office, he didn’t forget us. Senator Akanbi did not only facilitated transformer alone, he made sure it was installed and functioning well.
Senator Akanbi while equally appreciating all the communities under Balaro 2 Consumers Association for the believe and trust in him. He urged all communities that have benefitted from projects he has facilitated before becoming senator, while serving and after living office as Senator to monitor and report any problem or fault to his office at Inalende, Ibadan.
He said prompt report will make his office take quick response in terms of repair. He emphasized that his joy is to see people maximizing benefits from all the projects.
Senator Akanbi used the occasion to send out his new year message of hope. He said things are not going the way it should but charged people to remain positive and hopeful for the year 2022.
He said what is happening in Nigeria is universal, he prayed for better year 2022.
