As part of the activities to position himself well for the Oyo Central Senatorial District ticket ahead of 2023 general elections, Engr Kazeem Kolawole Raji on Friday took his declaration train to AFIJIO Local Government Area.
Engr Raji was received by LG’s Party Chairman, Hon. Anwo, Women Leader, Mrs. Ibidun and former LG Chairmen of the Council, Hon. Olorode and Hon. Akinbiyi.
Engr Raji while addressing people charged party faithfuls to remain steadfast and maintain decorum within and outside party.
After declaring formally before party leaders and party loyalists at the meeting, Engr Raji took his time to narrate what he has done to attract development to the AFIJIO Local Government Area and other LGAs in Oyo State while serving as Director of MTN.
“I touched lives positively within the period I served as Director of Africa’s giant telecommunication network, MTN. People can testify to this”.
Like he did in Oyo East and Oyo West Local Government Areas, he donated a sum of N1million to the party in AFIJIO, out of which N500,000 was meant to party leaders to encourage and mobilize people who of voting ages to register for Permanent Voter’s Card since it is the only ticket they can use to elect him once he scales through the primary.
Leaders also present at the declaration of Engr K.K Raji were Alhaji Kazeem Akala and Chief Ogundiran.
