One of the leading foundations in assisting people across diverse sector, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF) has successful sponsored training of 50 persons in Agricultural Entrepreneur held at the Adebisi Adebowale Training Hall, Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T), Ibadan.

The immediate past senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi is the founder of the foundation, through him no fewer than 5,000 women and youths in Oyo State have benefited from various empowerment programmes organised by Rilwan Adesoji Akanbi Foundation (RAAF).

The Okanlomo of Ibadanland, Senator Adesoji Akanbi through his foundation and commitment to human capital development achieved new feat by training 50 indigenes of Oyo state in various livestock and crop in conjunction with the Institute of Agricultural Research and Training (IAR&T) for an intensive 5-day training.

According to Senator Akanbi, he said, “the programme is aimed at empowering the beneficiaries to start their entrepreneurial journey and enhance their independence. Empowering them will yield further benefits for the society; when they grow their businesses, employ others and take adequate care of their dependents.”
