More than 14,000 repentant Boko Haram members are warming up to seek forgiveness from people of Borno State after completing their community service which involves environmental sanitation in camp.

The government is planning to reintegrate them into their various communities after the reintegration process taking place in the camp.

The senior research fellow of Centre for Democracy and Development (CDD), Mr. Mala Mustapha has assured the good people of Borno State that all repentant Boko Haram members have been trained how to relate and live with people under atmosphere that promote peace.

He urged people not to stigmatize them. He encouraged people to show them love once they are reintegrated into their communities.

He stressed that they will be reintegrated into community in batches. He pointed that over 17,000 repentant Boko Haram members spread across camps in the state are needed in the mission to rebuild Borno State.
