The notion, he that wants equity must come with clear hands is succinct for the ongoing cross examinations of Oyo East Local Government Chairman, Hon. Saheed Arowosaye by Oyo State Anti-Corruption Agency (OYACA).
There is no need for Mr. Chairman to be running helter skelter to get signatures of traditional leaders in our LGA, he should allow the anti-graft agency to do its job without being intimidated with spurious facts.
It is important to state that the matter of Traditional Council in the LG is one out of ten (10) accusations leveled against him bothering on misappropriation of LG funds.

It will be better and convincing enough if the Mr. Chairman can speak and clear himself on all allegations leveled against him and not narrowing it down to monthly salaries and allowances of the traditional leaders in the LG. Isn’t that ridiculous!
Hon. Arowosaye should speak on Security Vote of the LG and not looking for cover up through alleged bribery of traditional leaders to come and defend him. One would wonder why the traditional leaders in the LG didn’t speak for a very long time if truly Hon. Arowosaye has been discharging his duties accordingly.
The claim in a letter addressed to the Chairman, OYACA by the Oyo East Traditional Council on page 2, paragraph 3 that Hon. Arowosaye paid furniture, vehicle medical and palace maintenance of traditional leaders in the LG from Traditional Councils Account upon request by members is blatant lie and not founded.
More importantly, why Arowosaye is trying all his efforts to paint himself good, he should allow OYACA to do thorough job of 10 accusations leveled against him and stop paying faceless element to defend him or write sweet story for him.
