Management Consultant and chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkami Tegbe, has called for unity and spiritual rebirth among Nigerians irrespective of religious beliefs.
Mogaji Tegbe stated this on Thursday at the Ramadan Lecture and Interdenominational Prayer Programme organized by Tolohun Ni Osẹ Quranic Prayer Forum. He thereafter urged Christians and Muslims to utilize their observance of Lent and Ramadan fast respectively to pray for the peaceful co-existence of the country’s ethnic groups, and shun divisive tendencies capable of drawing back the country’s wheel of progress, especially in Oyo state.
In his message, which was delivered by Alhaji Najeem Gbayawu, Mogaji Tegbe saluted Nigerians for their resilience, struggling to make ends meet despite the harsh conditions we are subjected to. He called on the Federal Government to take urgent steps to provide immediate reprieve for Nigerians who are suffering as a result of the dire economic situation in the country.

He concluded by urging all Nigerians to remain tolerant of one another despite our religious and tribal differences as no tribe or faith is immune from the challenges we face as a Nation. He stated that our diversity should be seen as strength, rather than a tool to divide us, urging the masses not to fall for antics of agents of disunity.
The organizer thanked Mogaji Tegbe for honouring their invitation, and for his handsome donation. The event was graced by eminent religious clerics including Pastor(Dr) Gabriel Amusan of Àgbà lá Gabriel and Prophet Aderemi Dabiri from CCC Land of Goshen among others.
