Oyo gubernatorial hopeful, Engr Joseph Tegbe has congratulated Muslim faithfuls after the moon sighting which signifies commencement of Ramadan 1443 A.H.
The Chieftain of All Progressives Congress (APC), Oyo State chapter conveyed his greetings in a statement signed and made available to FreshPage in Ibadan.
I wish all the Muslim faithfuls all over the world Ramadan Kareem. I pray that Almighty Allah will answer all our prayers and requests in this holy month of Ramadan.
While I urge Muslim faithfuls in Oyo state to intensify in their prayers for peace, development and good governance in our dear state, I also implore that in the spirit of Ramadan, we should eschew violence, be our brothers keepers, spread kindness and show empathy to everyone around.
I beseech Muslims all over Nigeria to pray for peace in our beloved country, especially troubled zones.
May Allah accept our fasting as an act of Ibadah.
