Oyo State gubernatorial hopeful, Dr Ololade Usman Bakare has extended his heartfelt greetings and warmest wishes to all Muslim faithful across the length and breadth of Oyo State as the blessed month of Ramadan begins.
Dr Bakare said Ramadan is a sacred season of fasting, prayer, self-discipline and spiritual renewal for Muslim faithful. He described Ramadan as a time when hearts are purified, faith is strengthened and bond with Allaah (SWT) is deepened through devotion and obedience.
The cyber security expert stated in his Ramadan message that holy month reminds everyone the importance of patience, sacrifice, compassion and gratitude. Dr Bakare admonised Muslim faithful to reflect on responsibilities to one another, especially the less privileged in Oyo State.
Dr Bakare encouraged Muslim faithful to uphold the teaching of Islam by showing kindness, promoting peace, and extending support to those who are struggling during the Ramadan.
Bakare said he believes that with sincere prayers and purposeful leadership, Oyo State can achieve greater progress and shared prosperity.
He prayed may Allaah accept the fasts, prayers and good deeds of all Muslims during the period of Ramadan
