Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde has charged all gubernatorial aspirants under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, to go ahead and declare their intentions, and put the party’s logo in their billboards.
Governor Makinde made the statement yesterday while addressing Muslim faithful during the Ramadan breaking of fast held at the Government House, Ibadan.

Governor Makinde urged all governorship aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections under PDP not to be bothered by the crisis facing the party.

While speaking further, he expressed deep concerns for the assented version of the Electoral Act by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Makinde claimed that he hasn’t seen or laid his hand on the copy of Electoral Act signed by Mr. President.
Governor Makinde raised a similar concern as regards the tax reforms saying there are two versions in circulation.

He appealed to authorities responsible for the legislation to make the authentic versions of the laws signed by Mr. President to the public in the interest of transparency and clarity for political actors and the general public.
