The Nigeria Police Force has announced identification and detainment of its officer captured in the recent viral video shared by the sons of the Lagos businessman, Chief Razaq Okoya where they were abusing naira at a social gathering in Lagos.

Force Public Relations Officer, Prince Olumuyiwa Adejobi via his verified X handle confirmed that the officer involved in naira abuse has been identified and detained for disciplinary action.
Adejobi said the involvement of the policeman has been condemned, as it’s unethical. He said police will always strive hard to uphold the sanctity, credibility, and core values of the police.
