Oyo gubernatorial hopeful, Engr Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe on Sunday paid a condolence visit to the families of All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Oyo State, Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao-Akala and Sound Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi Ajagungbade III.
Oba Oyewumi Ajagungbade III joined his ancestors in December, 2021 while the former governor of Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Alao-Akala passed on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
Mogaji Tegbe led a delegation of APC party chieftains and supporters to the Opadoyin villa, Ogbomosho on a condolence visit to the Ogbomoso home of the late former governor of Oyo state Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala.
Mogaji Tegbe and others were received by the late governor’s widow Oluwakemi; Son, Honorable Olamiju Alao-Akala, Senator Brimoh-Yussuf, Hon Lawal and other members of the Akala political family.
While commiserating with family of Alao-Akala, Engr Tegbe said; “I was utterly shocked by the sad news. The contributions, developments and accomplishments of Otunba, as a governor and leader of the party are noteworthy. I recollect how jolly he was when he hosted my wife and I, recently”.
Tegbe was at the palace of the Soun of Ogbomosho to commiserate with the family of Soun Oba Ajagungbade III who joined his ancestors on the preparations for the 40 Days Fidau prayers.
