Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji (Dr) Muhammed Sa’ad Abubakar III on Thursday, February 22nd commissioned the newly reconstructed Iseyin Central Mosque.
Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde was in attendance among others to witness the official commissioning of the Central Mosque.
The Chief Imam of the Central Mosque and Aseyin of Iseyin, Oba Sefiu Adewale Oyebola Adeyeri were in attendance.

Representatives of the Christian Association of Nigeria were in attendance which shows that in Oyo State is united and cannot be divided along religious lines.
