As part of the efforts to address frequent building collapse in Lagos State,The Lagos State Building Control Agency (LASBCA) on Wednesday kicked off the demolition of illegal buildings on the Banana Island area of Lagos State.
FRESHPAGE recalls that, Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu ordered the demolition of three two-storey buildings on Banana Island following the collapse of a seven-storey building in the area.
LASBCA made this known in a post shared on its Twitter handle on Wednesday and wrote, “Banana Island: LASBCA Begins Removal of Illegal Structures.”
