The tragedy has hit the South-West chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as the Zona Vice Chairman, Hon. Soji Adagunodo reportedly died.
The death of the PDP leader, Adagunodo broke out on Tuesday hours Supreme Court upheld victory of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the duly Governor of the state in July 16 gubernatorial election.
FreshPage gathered that Adagunodo had his last breath in the United States after a brief illness.
Adagunodo had travelled to the US shortly after the general elections for a routine medical checkup but yet to return to the country since then.
“He died this afternoon. We were called from the United States that he has died. He travelled to the US shortly after the general elections for a routine medical checkup”, the source said.
Adagunodo, who was once a member of the Osun State House of Assembly, hailed from Obokun local government area of Osun State.
