The Oyo State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP has suffered another setback in the Oke-Ogun zone of the state as loyalist and party’s House of Representatives candidate for the Irepo/Olorunsogo /Oorelope federal constituency in the 2023 general elections, Hon. Hussaini Yusuf Ijabah tendered his resignation.
Ijabah in a resignation letter addressed to his Ward 3 Chairman in Irepo Local Government Area noted that PDP has lost its ideological values.
RESIGNATION OF MY MEMBERSHIP FROM THE PEOPLE DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP)
I wish to formally notify you of my resignation from the People Democratic Party (PDP) as a card carrying member over the years. This is both in line with the resignation of my political principal and leader (SEN. HOSEA AGBOOLA AYOOLA HALLELUJAH) and in line with my deepest conviction that the PDP I have been part of over the years has lost its ideological values, its desire for victory and most importantly its essence as a political party.

I am sincerely grateful for the meaningful experience and bonds formed within the Irepo, Oorelope ant Olorunsogo Federal Constituency party members, especially the leadership, for the unwavering love, friendship, support and opportunities extended to me over the years.
