As the road to 2023 gubernatorial elections draw closer across 28 states in Nigeria, the honourable Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism in Oyo State, Dr. Wasiu Olatunbosun has appealed to electorates in the State not to listening to those enemies who are playing religious cards to discredit administration Governor Seyi Makinde.
The Commissioner of Information assured everyone that Governor Makinde will do everything humanly possible within the ambit of law to raise the bar of governance in Oyo State with sustainable development in the key areas.

Olatunbosun while speaking in a well detailed video analysis made available on his verified social media handle about the composition of Muslims and Christians in the cabinet of Governor Makinde and two other elective positions at the Local Government level.

Olatunbosun said all the lies labeled on Governor Makinde were not in anyway realistic. He pointed out that they wanted to use politics of lies to divide well established love between Muslims and Christians in the state.
While revealing the statistics of Muslims and Christians in the cabinet of Governor Makinde, Olatunbosun said out of 17 Commissioners; 9 were Muslims while 8 were Christians based on the information within the reach of government.
He speaks further about the statistics of elected chairmen across the 33 LGAs, out of which 26 were Muslims and 7 were Christians. On the Councilors, Olatunbosun said out of 350 elected Councilors, 209 were Muslims, 139 were Christians and 2 were from African Traditional Religion.
The Commissioner said it is important to speak out because haters found no fault in administration of Governor Makinde but interested in politics of lies.
