Oyo State Post Primary School Teaching Service Commission (TESCOM) has debunked the viral cut off marks flying around for teaching jobs.

According to the memo signed by the Permanent Secretary of the commission, Mrs. Olabisi Oderinde obtained by FreshPage. She described the cut off marks flying through as misleading and fake. She urged applicants to disregard it.

Applicants that for the just concluded TESCOM CBT examination are anxiously waiting for the cut off marks to know their fate as regards next stage of recruitment.

Mrs. Oderinde advised applicants to disregard the cut off marks publication and watch out for authentic information from TESCOM management as regards next stage of recruitment process through commission’s print and social media platforms.

The Chairman of TESCOM, Pastor Akin Alamu had earlier said while briefing journalists that just 10 per cent out of the over 67,000 applicants that participated in the exercise scored 50% and above.

Successful applicants that make cut off marks will proceed to oral interview as scheduled by the commission in September.

The whole exercise is expected to complete before the month of October, 2020.
