The Oyo State Rotaractors on Saturday, August 17, gathered in a grand assembly at the Faculty Lecture Theater of the Faculty of Agriculture Sciences, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Iseyin Campus. This event, themed “Innovate, Lead and Inspire: Crafting a Magical Year,” brought together leaders from the 24 clubs in the state.
The assembly featured esteemed trainers such as Adedeji Adeoti, Rtn. Adewale Adesokan, Rotr. Oyerinde Ibraheem A., and Rotr. Adetoye Adedoyin E., with Rotr. Balogun Kazeem A. serving as the State Learning Facilitator.
In her opening remarks, Oyo State Representative, Zone 2, D9126, Nigeria, Rotr. Busayo Victoria Olusoji welcomed the club presidents, state officers, club officers, Rotarians, past leaders, friends, and guests. She emphasized the importance of personal branding, networking, partnerships, and effective use of the Rotary portal and the social media.
The trainers provided valuable insights, engaging the assembly in interactive sessions. Zone 2, District 9126, Nigeria, Zonal Coordinator Rotr. Salaudeen O. Abiodun praised the event, stating, “Let us do more together and make Rotaract Oyo State better. I am thrilled and overwhelmed with the State Assembly program; it is one of the best in recent times.”
District 9126 Rotaract Representative Rotr. Oyewumi Kamaldeen Adeshina shared positive feedback from participants, while Rotr. Feranmi Opeyemi from Rotaract Club of Federal School of Surveying, OYO expressed gratitude, saying, “Yesterday was an incredible program, and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be part of it. Thanks to all who made it happen.”
The Beulah Adeoye Foundation was recognized for sponsoring the event brochure. In appreciation, the State Representative presented a framed Four-Way Test of Rotary to the foundation at Beulah House in Mokola, Ibadan. Additionally, Amofin Beulah Adeoye, the foundation’s founder, was celebrated with birthday wishes.
