A gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Ololade Usman Bakare on Tuesday joined progressive family, leaders and party stakeholders to attend the 2nd Lam-Adesina Annual Lecture Series to commemorate the 13th year remembrance of late Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina.
Dr Bakare was at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre along with other political heavyweights across the country.
Dr Bakare, a cyber security expert said late former governor, Alhaji Lam-Adesina epitomises virtues of core progressive with democratic ideals and ethos.

He said progressives will continue to unite, celebrate late Alhaji Lam-Adesina for what he stood for and development agenda he executed for Oyo State during his period as governor of Oyo State between 1999 and 2003.
Chief Akin Sunday Dare, represented President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the event, President Tinubu who was the special guest of honour at the event, extolled and described late former governor, Alhaji Lamidi Onaolapo Adesina as a steadfast believer in Nigeria’s promise. He said late Lam-Adesina remained a great patriot even in death.

Former Governor of Ogun State, Senator Ibikunle Amosun delivered 2nd Lam-Adesina Annual Lecture Series titled; “Sustaining a Legacy of Effective Leadership in Nigeria: The Imperative Citizens’ Education”.
Former Chairman of the Oyo APC Chairman, Chief Akin Oke, present Chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abas, wife of late Alhaji Lam-Adesina, Alhaja Sarat Adesina, former NCC Chairman, Prof. Adeolu Akande, former political aide to late Lam-Adesina, Mrs Florence Ajimobi, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, Senator Monsurat Sunmonu, Barr Lowo Obisesan among others were in attendance to honour Great Lam.
