Oloye Saheed Oladele, the Baàmẹ̀kọ́ of Ibadanland and Chairman/CEO of Erudite Group of Schools, has called on parents to do background checks on any school they slate for their children to attend.
Oloye Saheed Oladele gave this advice while delivering a lecture titled, ‘Factors Affecting Sound and Moral Education in our Nation: pros and cons, how far?’ to mark the centenary celebration of St Peter African Church, Ajebo, Ogun State, today.

The education entrepreneur stressed that to ensure that children get sound and moral education, parents must prioritise doing research on the schools their children wish to attend. Among the ten important points Oloye Oladele made was for parents to know the kind of teachers in the schools. He said that teachers’ competence and state of mind are essential for the academic success of pupils and students.

Oloye Oladele added that parents have a duty to examine the curriculum schools make use of in teaching and learning since curriculum serves as a guide for teachers to know and understand the contents of school subjects.
While thanking the Erudite CEO for the invaluable lecture he delivered, the vicar of the church, Rev. Canon Ebenezer A. Opabiyi stated that Oloye Oladele combines brilliance with humility and that any person who possesses both qualities deserves to be supported to attain a position of authority as they are necessary ingredients a leader needs to succeed. He said what attracted them to Baameko are the numerous achievements recorded by Erudite Schools in Cambridge A Level, SAT and other international examinations and they thought he is the right person to do justice to the topic of the lecture.
