A governorship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Ololade Usman Bakare has sympathised with Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso and families of six Nursing students involved in ghastly accident that claimed their lives.

Bakare, who is an Alumnus of the institution described the death of the six Nursing students as devastating and prayed for the souls of the departed to rest in eternal peace.

Bakare expressed his solidarity with families and friends of the victims during the pain and grief period. He appealed to all road users to always exercise caution and prioritise safety while travelling.

Bakare said: “To lose six future health officers and change makers is not only heartbreaking but a big blow to our collective aspirations towards rebranding our health sector. The entire LAUTECH alumni and good people of Oyo State mourn with departed souls”.

Bakare urged the management staff, and students of LAUTECH to remain strong and united during the difficult time. He prayed may the souls of departed rest in perfect peace and may God grant their families fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
