As part of the effort towards making academic environment safe and secure for staff and students of the Ibadan City Academy, Eleta, the alumni network of the school has facilitated employment of five (5) night guards and construction of perimeter fence.

The gesture was was well appreciated by Oyo State Government, through Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in a letter addressed to the Old Students Association of the School.

The Honourable Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Barr AbdulRaheem AbduRahman thanked the association on behalf of Oyo State Government.

Barr AbdulRahman said the act as written the name of the association in the prestigious annals of education history in Oyo State. He prayed to God to continue strengthen all members of the association for their exemplary act of philanthropic gesture.

He reiterated that government’s door is always open to any meaningful assistance like Ibadan City Academy capable of enhancing education development in Oyo State.
