Oyo Central Senatorial hopeful, Engr Kazeem Kolawole Raji has declared his ambition before party loyalists and seek their support to contest 2023 general elections.
Engr Raji fondly called K.K attended the meeting of the All Progressives Congress APC held in Oyo East and Oyo West Local Government Areas on Wednesday.
He received rousing welcome from the mammoth crowd at the venues of the meeting held in the two LGAs.
The party members present at the meeting were joyous to receive Engr Raji whom they described as true Omoluabi and worthy representative they have tasted in the past.
While addressing the party members at the meeting, Engr Raji with his ‘ILERI OLUWA’ agenda assured good people of Oyo East and Oyo West Local Government Areas that he is ready to serve them and represent them well at the Red Chamber. He charged the supporters to remain calm, maintain peace with one another and pray for leaders of the party.
According to Engr Raji; “my ambition didn’t emanate today, i have conceived it long before now to represent the good people of Oyo Central Senatorial District. You all know, I contested as Alliance for Democracy (AD) candidate for Oyo East/Oyo West House of Assembly in 2003. For your information, I am in touch with leaders, stakeholders and grassroots people within and outside Oyo town. The massive crowd that welcome me to the meeting is a testimony”.
“My ambition is bring the desired change to Oyo Central Senatorial District. I hereby seek the support of party loyalists”.
He donated a sum of One Million Naira (N1,000,000) to each of the local government visited .
His campaign train will move to Afijio Local Government on Friday and Atiba Local Government on Sunday .
