Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful, Sarafadeen Ayinde Abiola popularly called Oiler has visited the newly reconstructed Sasa market, Ibadan that was razed during Hausa-Yoruba clash in February, 2021.
Hon. Oiler who is eyeing Akinyele Constituency I along with his team visited the reconstructed Sasa market where several lives and goods worth millions of naira were lost last year.
Hon. Oiler was amazed with the quality of work done in repositioning the market with modern facilities.
He commended Oyo State Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for redefining what a true leadership should be by bringing the market back better under the serene space within one year it suffered set back.
“Indeed, Governor Makinde is raising the bar of governance in Oyo State with his investment in developmental project like Sasa market. No doubt, Governor Makinde has fulfilled the promise he made before Sasa traditional leaders, northern governors, market men and women as well residents of Sasa community. No doubt, Oyo State is endowed with pro-masses governor”.
Hon. Oiler also visited the palace of Sarkin Sasa, Alhaji Haruna Mai Yasin Katsina. Hon. Oiler stressed the need to live in harmony while speaking at the palace of Sarkin Sasa and charged people to display good maintenance culture when property finally allocated to them.
