As part of the initiatives to ensure the victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2023 general elections, the Chairman of the party at the state level, Hon. Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu has inaugurated 24-man reconciliation committee at the party’s secretariat office, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.
FRESHPAGE understands that the need to reconcile with aggrieved members of the party becomes necessary following the grievances than happened within the high ranking members which has forced one of its gubernatorial aspirants of the party to dump APC and move ACCORD Party. FRESHPAGE gathered that aggrieved members who didn’t decamp threatened to work against the party at the state level.
Former Oyo South senator, Chief Olufemi Lanlehin would chair the reconciliation committee and urge aggrieved members of the party to forget the past.
According to Hon. Omodewu; “the committee comprises of men and women of values and integrity. They are undoubtedly among the true faces of progressive party in Oyo State and I have no iota of doubt that they will deliver on their mandate”
Alhaji Tajudeen Olanite would serve as Secretary of the committee. Other members are; Hon Lasun Adebunmi, Alhaji Gbadamosi Abu Adejare, Chief Timothy Alarape Jolaoso, Engr Oladayo Lawal, Chief Badmos Bukola, Sunday Ajadi, Hon Chief S. O. Olaoye, Balogun Gaphar Oyetola, Erelu Funke Olayanju, Pastor Adewale Adepoju, Alhaji Kakako Ayinla, Alhaji Ramon Aderemi Sadiq, Hon Olorode Samuel Oluade and Hadji Dr. Ameed A Ayinla.
Others are; Otunba Kunle Folarin, Akande Abass, Alhaji Kareem Adebayo, Dr Adepeju Esan, Tunde Ajibola, Remi Olalekan, Engineer Oke Kolawole and Hafeez Omobolaji Repete.
