It was a huge relieve for residents of Idi-Obi, Agugu, Ilupeju and its environs as over 200 people benefitted from free medical outreach organized by Old Students Association, United Secondary School, Agugu, Ibadan.
The medical outreach program was put together as part of the events to mark the 42nd year anniversary of the school.
The essence of the medical outreach program is to give back to host community where the 42 years old secondary school is located.

According to the leader of medical outreach and a member of the 1986 set of USSA, Dr Ismail Olalekan, he described the turnout as very impressive, despite short notice to host community.

Dr Ismail said he felt so delighted to be back to the host community that accommodated him and other sets during their secondary school days.
The family physician who works in a tertiary institution disclosed to FRESHPAGE.COM.NG that his team conducted three major tests:
Blood Pressure, Eyes and Blood Sugar. He spoke further that those with various illness were stabilized, counselled and referred appropriately.
While speaking on the measures put in place to monitor the progress of those with various illness, he said his team members are ready to monitor their conditions and provide necessary assistance as much as possible.
He indicated that “Government alone cannot do it that is why old students association deemed it fit to conduct free medical outreach for the benefit of those living around the school community”.
He attributed the success of the program to amazing and wonderful team members he has and support of central body of the old students association of United Secondary School.
The Baale of Idi-Obi, Chief Bayo Folarin expressed his satisfaction and commended the old students association for giving back to the community.
