Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has expressed readiness of his administration to make Emmanuel Alayande University of Education, Oyo, best University of Education in Nigeria.
Governor Makinde made the statement recently at the inauguration of the Implementation and Secretariat Committees of the Emmanuel Alayande University of Education held at the Executive Council chamber, Secretariat.
While speaking at the inauguration, Governor Makinde reiterated that the role of the inaugurated Committees is to create the policies and processes by which the institution will be run.
FreshPage recalls that Emmanuel Alayande College of Education (EACOED), Oyo was upgraded to University status few months ago. The newly upgraded University of Education has received approval from National Universities Commission (NUC) as a full fledge university to champion the cause of producing world class teachers.
