Osun state High Court sitting in Osogbo has fixed 2nd of May, 2023 to rule on application seeking to set aside PDP congresses conducted on 18th and 19th April, 2023.
The application filed by 8 members of the party led by Segun Odekunmi against PDP and caretaker chairman Akindele Adekunle was held on Thursday by Justice Ayo Oyebiyi.
Justice Oyebiyi had earlier restrained PDP from forging ahead with the conduct of proposed congresses pending the determination of suit before the Court bothering on suspension of some PDP members.

Counsel to the plaintiffs, Edmond Biri-Omoni said he had filed an application seeking the reversal of all actions carried by the PDP in contempt of the earlier Court order.
On his part, counsel to the defendant Hasim Abioye stated that suit bothers on internal affairs of the PDP which the court doesn’t have jurisdiction to rule on, he pray the court throw out the application.
