Osun State House of Assembly has reacted to the inaugural speech delivered by the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke over the action taken by reversing State name from State of Osun to Osun State as well as the Motto of the state.
The State House of Assembly reaction was issued in a press statement signed by the Chairman, House Committee on Media and Publicity, Hon. Moshood Kunle Akande.

The lawmakers described the usage of State Anthem, Crest and Flag as an enactment of law which cannot be subjected to choice.

The lawmakers maintained that pending the court judgement in effect of recognizing “State of Osun” has announced by the Governor at his inaugural speech on Sunday, the State shall and will continue to be described as the State of the Virtuous.
