A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Busayo Wole Oke representing the good people of Obokun/Oriade federal constituency has said that only People’s Democratic Party (PDP) members with selfish or ulterior motive could oppose the emergence of Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde as the Leader of PDP in south-west.
Hon. Oke disclosed this while speaking with journalists in Abuja that the position of Engr Seyi Makinde as the PDP leader in the south-west is undebatable.
He argued that no party lover or loyal member would question the process through which Makinde emerged as the leader in the South-west.
It would be recalled that the former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose had earlier challenge Makinde that he is not the leader of the PDP.
Engr Seyi Makinde remains the only PDP governor in the South-west, as such he becomes the leader of the party, it should be noted that he has all what it takes to be a leader in terms of education, exposure and corporate world; Hon. Oke said.
