The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, (JAMB) has disclosed that only candidates that gain admission and matriculated will enjoy Nigerian Society of Engineers Scholarship.
One of the Directors of JAMB, Lawal Yusuf affirmed this at a meeting organised by NSE to honour the top UTME candidates in the country who incidentally all seek to study engineering in various universities.
The Chairman, NSE, Babagana Muhammed said based on the information he received from JAMB that not all who got good results would get into school because some are below age and some schools have a standard and if a candidate didn’t meet up with the age, such candidate cannot get admission.
Sixteen best candidates have been penned down by the Society to receive a Scholarship for the period of 5 years.
