The lawmaker representing Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo/Odigbo federal constituency, Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye has appointed former student leader of the University of Ibadan, Ajayi Michael Abayomi fondly call Conciliator as his Special Assistant on Strategy, Planning and Constituency Development.

The appointment which was made official on Tuesday, January 23, in a letter signed by the lawmaker.

Ajayi cut his political tooth in University of Ibadan as a student, he was member, Students Representatives Council 2010, Chief-whip Independence Hall Students Representative Council, Students Union Welfare Committee Chairman, P.R.O National Association of Ondo state Students (NAOSS UI CHAPTER) 2010.

The young and energetic Ajayi became speaker, National Association of Okeigbo students 2012, Chairman, Independence Hall Electoral committee 2012.

Following his victory at the poll as the duly elected president of students, Philosophy Department in 2012, he rose to become Chairman, Council of Presidents and Secretaries University of Ibadan 2012.

The visionary Ajayi became the first President, Philosophy Students to Host National Convention with Zero account. During this time, he brought Dufil Nigeria Plc, the producer of Indomie noodles to partner with the Department with resounding success. The brilliant Ajayi with the support of his executive members produced the first National President for Philosophy students throughout Nigeria.

After his graduation from University of Ibadan, he flagged off Conciphax Integrated, a company that focus on fashion, haulage and food production with headquarter in Yaba Lagos

Below is the Acceptance and Appreciation Speech over his appointment as Special Assistant on Strategy, Planning and Constituency Development

“With a grateful heart, readied mind, and high spirit to serve, I write to accept my appointment as a Special Assistant to my esteemed Principal, leader, and Mentor, Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye.

“It will continue to remain an inestimable gratefulness to have been appointed to serve in this capacity. However, my appointment shall continue to remain grounded and keen into all that you have promised to do and deliver for the good people of the Ileoluji/Okeigbo & Odigbo federal constituency during the electioneering campaign.

“This Appointment has again shown trust, commitment and call to serve by the ultimate vision of my indefatigable Principal, Hon. Festus Ayodele Adefiranye, which I’m optimistic as I accept to work with him in the legislative business of our dear federal constituency and he will exceed the expectations of our constituents.

“I express my gratitude to God, my principal, and acknowledge the support of my leaders and role models, especially Prince Bisi Fasogbon and the Senior Legislative Aide to MHR, Hon. Funminiyi Adesoji, as well as the APC faithful and party leaders.

“I won’t also forget the two pillars of my political journey, the late Pa. E.A Ajayi and the Late Mrs. Olufunke Ayomide Ajayi of blessed memories who always believe in my political career. It’s so painful they are no more but they remain in my life forever. To my mother Mama Paulina Omolewa Ajayi and Mama Adedubu Cecelia Ajayi, I say thank you for not being tired over my life. You are indeed great warriors of Christ.

“Stepping into this responsibility, I am grateful for the spiritual and moral guidance of Ven. Olusegun Ajayi, the DEAN of the Anglican Diocese of LAGOS MAINLAND, and I pray that Almighty God rewards you abundantly”.
