As a seasoned politician and a committed citizen of Oluyole, the above news caption, like any big news about the local government, caught my attention. It first looked like an exaggeration, but considering the strength of the author of the message, I told myself that it is possible. With the personality, antecedents, popularity, accessibility, good nature, and experience of Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, a former 2-time chairman of the local government, former Chief Press Secretary.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

it can even be quadrupled and even more. ‘Call me Kenny ‘ as he is fondly called is a versatile grassroots politician with strong tentacles in all ten wards of Oluyole. One clear uncommon positive characteristic of Olaosebikan is that he is neither a discriminatory nor a fanatical politician as he relates freely with everybody irrespective of party, class, age, or religion. He is a perfect jolly good fellow.

On tripling the votes of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 and winning for all the candidates of APC in Oluyole, Olaosebikan would accomplish this but with a big but. Tested, trusted, and loved by quite a number of people in and beyond the local government, Kenny also needs to show the Oluyole people that APC loves him too.

This can only be proved with the party’s ticket for at least the Oluyole Federal Constituency in his hand. With the ticket, I can tell you without any equivocation that Kenny would win massively for the party. This is what the majority of Oluyole people across party lines are waiting for: Give Olaosebikan the ticket, and we will all vote for him and APC, en masse.
