His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Rasidi Adewolu Ladoja ( Arusa1) will celebrate Easter Picnic Fiesta on Monday at his palace , Oke Aremo, Ibadan on Monday 6th April 2026.
The Easter picnic message is contained in the press release issued and signed by the Chief Press Secretary to Olubadan of Ibadanland,Chief Ayoade Solomon Olugbemiga on Sunday
Easter Monday is celebrated to commemorate the appearance of Jesus Christ after His resurrection from the death
Without resurrection, Christians worship is in vain as the resurrection gives hope of salvation to mankind according to the Biblical injunction
The press release admonished Christians not to go back to their sinful ways after fasting for 40 days, adding that the celebration should not be for merry making alone but instead to reflect on on our past activities ,make amendment and make proper use of lessons learned during the Lenten periods
The 2026 Easter picnic will feature among others,praise worship, dancing, ministration of words of God and miracles
According to the Palace chaplain pastor Adediji Olusoji, His Imperial Majesty Oba Ladoja will receive the invited guests which include members of Olubadan – In – Council, other Traditional Rulers , community leaders, market traders, religious leaders as well as members of the public .
