The founder, Morolake Cares Initiatives (MCI), Morolake Laniyan has commended Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State over quick approval of installation date of new Olubadan, Senator Lekan Balogun.
Her commendation note was contained in ra statement released and signed by media officer of the foundation.
Laniyan hailed Governor Makinde for preserving and sustaining the distinct traditional stool of Ibadanland following the announcement of installation of 42nd Olubadan of Ibadan which will hold on Friday, March 11, 2022.
“Governor Makinde has demostrated what true leadership should be for allowing Olubadan-in-Council resolve issues that came up when Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji Ajé Ogungunniso I joined his ancestors. What was resolved within days has denied few cities opportunity of having monarch for decades.
“As we await ascension of Olubadan’s throne by Senator Lekan Balogun from Aliiwo Compound, may his reign be peaceful and bring development to Ibadan”.
