Barley twenty (20) years after they completed their secondary school education programme, the 2004 set of Igboho More Community Grammar School in Orelope Local Government Area of Oyo State on Friday, January 26, gave back to their alma mater by obtaining Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), JAMB form for brilliant and indigent students of the school.
On what informed the educative gesture, the 2004 set Senior Perfect who doubles as Chairman, Mr. Alao Abeeb said the initiative is part of the activities lined up by the set to celebrate 20 years they left secondary school under the guide of erudite and versatile teachers who impacted them with right knowledge to rise in life.
Mr. Alao said secondary schools across the state need support of old students to encourage, mentor and provide educative support that will advance their quest for genuine knowledge.

He said the initiative was powdered by old students home and abroad and 20 students benefitted from the free JAMB form to support their academic dreams.
On beneficiaries were selected, the Secretary for the set, Mr. Morolahun Samson Oyedele told FRESHPAGE.COM.NG that the old students worked with school management to identify brilliant and indigent students across the three departments; Science, Arts and Commercial.
The presentation of the JAMB forms took place on the assembly ground of the school, beneficiaries were called one after the other to collect JAMB scholarship form.
The Principal, Igboho More Community Grammar School, Mr. Odekunle appreciated the old students for giving back to their alma mater, he charged other alumni body of the school to remember the school and assist the present students in their academic journey. He prayed to God to continue to elevate the entire set.

Also speaking, the Vice Principals, Mr Adesola and Mr Ogunmodede appreciated the old students association for deeming it fit to remember the school.
Stella Ayoade spoke of behalf of beneficiaries to appreciate the 2004 set of her school for assisting their parents and relieve them of financial burden.
Speaking on behalf of the parents, Mr. Olaniyan gave vote of thanks and appreciated all 2004 set.
Other members of the 2004 set present at the event were; Mr Olaniyan Sodiq, Public Relations Officer (PRO) and Mrs Nasiru Muinat, Social Director.
