House of Representatives aspirant for Ibarapa Central/North Federal Constituency, Engr. (Dr.) David Olusegun Okanlawon, has extended warm birthday wishes to the incumbent lawmaker, Hon. Dr. Anthony Adebayo Adepoju Ibarapakan, while also reaffirming his readiness to offer an alternative leadership ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a personal message released on Tuesday, Okanlawon described Hon. Adepoju Ibarapakan as a brother and congratulated him on the occasion of his birthday, praying for long life, good health, renewed strength and deeper wisdom as he continues to represent the constituency.

“As a son of Ibarapa and a committed stakeholder in the progress of our constituency, I encourage him to continue to serve with sincerity, fairness and a genuine commitment to the welfare of our people,” Okanlawon stated, stressing that public trust remains sacred and that leadership must be guided by integrity, service and accountability.
Looking beyond the birthday goodwill, the APC chieftain made his political intentions clear, noting that the future of Ibarapa Central and North demands a new direction.
According to him, he is fully prepared to assume the mandate of representation in 2027 and provide results-based leadership, transitioning from the current PDP-led representation to what he described as a credible, people-focused alternative under the All Progressives Congress (APC).
“Our people deserve representation anchored on evidential and substantial achievements, not political manipulation or empty rhetoric,” Okanlawon said, adding that leadership must be felt, measured and accounted for.
