Abm. (Dr) Gbenga Clement Obilade, founder of the non-governental organisation, Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation, has extended his heartfelt New Year greetings to all citizens of Nigeria, especially indigenes and residents of Egbeda and Ona-Ara LGAs.
Amb. Obilade called for unity of purpose and building a prosperous nation in his new year message made available to press in Ibadan. Obilade said the beginning of a new year offers entire citizens of Nigeria a renewed opportunity to reflect on a shared journey as a nation.
Dr Obilade, who doubles as Bobagunwa of Akinjole Community in Egbeda LGA appreciated the resilience of Nigerians and urged them to recommit themselves to building a more just, inclusive and prosperous society.
He noted that the past year came with its fair share of challenges, he however maintained that it revealed the strength, creativity and compassion of Nigerians from all walks of life.
Dr Obilade reaffirms that Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation is dedicated to service and impact. He assured all and sundry that the NGO is resolved to deepen its interventions in education, healthcare, community development and advocacy for good governance. He pledged the commitment of Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation to partnering with stakeholders, institutions and citizens to drive positive change and deliver solutions that improve lives.
