Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba AbduRasheed Akanbi Telu 1 has donated a sum of five thousand naira (N5,000) to some residents of Iwo town in order to ease the pain of naira scarcity in the country.

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the monarch, Alli Ibrahim, 50 beneficiaries received a sum of N5,000 each at the event held in palace.

The monarch, Oluwo further distributed 25 sewing machines, 20 grinding machine, food items as a way of empowering people of Iwoland with the current economic realities.

The items for empowerment were provided by illustrious son of Iwo, Mr. Tunde Rahmon.
