A non-profit organization, has joined millions of mourners across the world to commiserate with the family of 45th Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Atanda Adeyemi III who joined his ancestors.

Rolake conveyed her condolences in a statement issued and signed by the Director of Media of the Initiatives.

“Alaafin lived exemplary life worthy of emulation. He used the exalted stool to promote peace and unity of black race. Iku Baba Yeye was an epitome of what traditional ruler should be in the 21st century. His ability to strike a balance between religion and tradition which gives no room for agitations during his 52 years reign as monarch distinguished him”.

Oba Adeyemi III will be remembered for his upright, speaking truth to power and his fatherly approach to societal issues.
