A non-profit organization, Morolake Cares Initiatives (MCI) has distributed food stuff to over three hundred (300) households in Ibadan.
The free food distribution programme was part of the motive to give back to society.
It was an atmosphere filled with excitement at St Cyprian’s Primary School, Oke-Adu, venue of the food distribution programme as residents of Oke-Adu, Oluyoro, Oke-Offa and its environs trooped out enmass to express their joy at the flag off of the initiatives and take something home.
The Chairman of the occasion, who doubles as father of the founder, Prof. Lanrewaju Laniyan expressed his appreciation to the creator of man for witnessing impactful project his daughter unveiled.
The Chairman said food bank programme of the organization is the tips of the iceberg, stressing that more impactful projects will be executed soon.
In her own keynote address, the founder, Rolake Laniyan stressed on the need for people to support her in the journey to touch and transform young girls in the state. She harped on her experience and as a conscious female and mother to make the organization achieve its stated objectives.
Present at the event were Board Member of Morolake Cares Initiatives, Mrs. Abiola Taylor, Legal Adviser, Oluwadamilola Laniyan and other members of the initiatives.
