Oyo State gubernatorial hopeful, Engr Joseph Tegbe has felicitated with Muslim Ummah in Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole on the occasion of this year’s Maulud Nabiyy which marked the birth of holy prophet Muhammed (S.A.W).
Mogaji Tegbe’s message was contained in statement he personally signed and made available to FreshPage.
“I congratulate all Muslim faithfuls on the anniversary of the birth of the Noble Prophet Mohammed, (S.A.W).
“The life and teachings of the great Prophet (SAW) emphasized the importance of co-existence and attitudinal change.
“As Oyo state and indeed Nigeria navigates challenging times, it is important to imbibe the virtues of the Prophet to shun divisive tendencies capable of drawing back the country’s wheel of progress, and rather renew our resolve in promoting unity, tolerance, love, harmony and peaceful coexistence in the country.
“We also need seek the face of God for our Leaders to be equipped with courage, wisdom and a sense of justice, necessary to navigate these trying times.
“May the Almighty shower us with good tidings on Oyo state and Nigeria”.
