A man identified has Suraju Yisa has been arrested by Ido Police Command in Ìbàdàn for allegedly beating up his wife and cut the ear of their three months old baby in Ibadan.
The wife of Mr. Yisa cried out to the premises of popular radio station, Agidigbo FM in Ibadan, demanding that justice should be served to her husband.
The proprietor of the radio station, Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat attended to Barakat Yisa in Live broadcast on the social media platform of the station monitored by FreshPage.
While fielding questions from Alhaji Hamzat, Mrs. Barakat said she did not do anything to warrant such molestation from her husband, she accused her husband of maltreating her for a long time.
She narrated that the sad event happened on Thursday when her husband came back from work, she said that her husband smashed her the chair in the house that cut the ear of their three months old baby she is nursing.
She went further that it was her neighbour that advised her to go to police station and report. She recalled that when the policemen came around, her husband exchange punches with the policemen before he was finally arrested.
Mrs. Barakat, a mother of four while speaking revealed that her husband is an Okada rider.
Barakat said all her effort to terminate the marriage did not work because her mother told to endure despite all the challenges.
Alhaji Oriyomi Hamzat commended the prompt response of Ido Police Command and urged them to handle the case as expected within the ambit of law.
